Mike Tejano, PT, DPT
Clinical Director & Physical Therapist
Mike did his undergraduate work at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he studied psychology and exercise and sports science. During this time, he discovered his passion for helping others through physical therapy, while working as a physical therapy aide. He followed this passion, receiving his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Western University of Health Sciences, graduating with honors.
During his studies, Mike completed clinical rotations at Saddleback Memorial Hospital Inpatient/Outpatient Rehabilitation and Hoag Memorial Hospital Outpatient Rehabilitation. During these experiences, he worked closely with diverse populations including geriatrics, high-level athletes, and patients with serious medical conditions in the intensive care unit. He enjoys treating a wide variety of orthopedic and neurological conditions including sports injuries, post-stroke rehabilitation, and balance disorders.
With his free time, Mike enjoys being active and exploring the outdoors with his wife. His hobbies include water skiing, trail running, strength training, and soccer. He also enjoys furthering his knowledge and keeping up with the latest research and developments in the field of physical therapy. He takes great pride in educating his patients and developing a personalized treatment plans so that get his patients back to doing the things they love.
Lauren Pai
PT, DPT
Lauren graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health. With a background in dance, interest in movement, and eagerness to help others she explored the field of physical therapy working as a Physical Therapy Aide. As an aide she valued interacting with diverse individuals and making personal connections to provide a better experience for those in the clinic. Lauren soon decided to pursue a career in physical therapy and received a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington.
Lauren has completed clinical rotations in outpatient orthopedic settings, working with patients across the lifespan and providing individualized care involving manual techniques and exercise to improve their quality of life and overall health and wellness.
Outside of work you will find her with her four dogs, at a coffee shop or eatery, enjoying any outdoor activities or trying something new.
Heather Hunt, PTA
Physical Therapist
Heather has been a part of the Intecore Physical Therapy family since 2013. She moved to Orange County, CA just after graduating from the Tarrant County College (Texas) Physical Therapist Assistant program. Prior to pursuing her PTA degree, Heather spent 5 years as a Physical Therapy Aide, specifically in sports medicine and orthopedic clinics.
Heather decided that she wanted to pursue a career in physical therapy as a young teen, this decision was heavily influenced by her experience growing up with two siblings with orthopedic challenges, where she saw first-hand the value and positive effects of physical therapy.
Heather continues with professional development and has attended several continuing education courses, including courses specializing in the care of pregnant and postpartum patients. In her free-time, Heather enjoys cycling, going to the beach, hiking and spending time with her family and young son.
Nour Khorrami
Patient Care Coordinator
Nour is an Orange County native that received her undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2019. Having an interest in medicine and communication, she has decided to pursue a career in Speech and Language Pathology. Outside of work, Nour enjoys hiking, yoga, and trying new restaurants.
