Lauren Pai, PT, DPT
Doctor of Physical Therapy
Lauren graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health. With a background in dance, interest in movement, and eagerness to help others she explored the field of physical therapy working as a Physical Therapy Aide. As an aide she valued interacting with diverse individuals and making personal connections to provide a better experience for those in the clinic. Lauren soon decided to pursue a career in physical therapy and received a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington.
Lauren has completed clinical rotations in outpatient orthopedic settings, working with patients across the lifespan and providing individualized care involving manual techniques and exercise to improve their quality of life and overall health and wellness.
Outside of work you will find her with her four dogs, at a coffee shop or eatery, enjoying any outdoor activities or trying something new.
Heather Hunt, PTA
Physical Therapist Assistant
Heather has been a part of the Intecore Physical Therapy family since 2013. She moved to Orange County, CA just after graduating from the Tarrant County College (Texas) Physical Therapist Assistant program. Prior to pursuing her PTA degree, Heather spent 5 years as a Physical Therapy Aide, specifically in sports medicine and orthopedic clinics.
Heather decided that she wanted to pursue a career in physical therapy as a young teen, this decision was heavily influenced by her experience growing up with two siblings with orthopedic challenges, where she saw first-hand the value and positive effects of physical therapy.
Heather continues with professional development and has attended several continuing education courses, including courses specializing in the care of pregnant and postpartum patients. In her free-time, Heather enjoys cycling, going to the beach, hiking and spending time with her family and young son.
Brandon Mulrooney, PT, DPT
Doctor of Physical Therapy
Brandon received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Kinesiology from Whittier College where he played collegiate baseball for the Poets. He then continued his education from University of the Pacific in Stockton, California to get his Doctor of Physical Therapy. As part of his graduate course work, Brandon completed clinical rotations in an orthopedic outpatient setting working with patients of various ages, injuries, and ability levels including collegiate athletes. He also gained experience working inpatient rehabilitation at Lodi Memorial Hospital. During this time, Brandon was present during numerous orthopedic surgeries including total knee and hip replacements.
Brandon personalizes plan of care specific to his patients and their goals to return to their prior level of function. He individualizes each treatment based on the patient's needs, goals, and learning styles.
During his free time, Brandon loves rooting for the Los Angeles Angels baseball team, surfing, and being with his friends and family.
Shannon Hill, PT, MPT
Master of Physical Therapy
Shannon received her Bachelors of Arts from the University of California, Irvine in 1991 and later earned her Masters of Physical Therapy in 1998 from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, Ca. She became familiar with physical therapy as a teenager while playing high school soccer and running track and field and sustaining several sports-related injuries herself. It felt natural for her to continue on a path of learning to recover and helping others do the same.
She is a seasoned physical therapist and her extensive expertise lies in orthopedics and sports medicine, where she has excelled in addressing complex spine issues, shoulder dysfunctions and lower extremity impairments. In pursuit of continuous improvement, she stays at the forefront of the advancements in her field by attending numerous continuing education courses.
She treats her patients not only with a solid skill set but also with compassion, dedication and the mindset that everyone is on a different journey in their recovery. She enjoys helping her patients discover their personal goals in therapy and return to their lives and activities pain free. Recovery does not always happen overnight but it will happen over time.
Outside of the clinic, Shannon is an outdoor enthusiast and is an avid road bike cyclist, enjoys hiking, learning new recipes and is an absolute animal lover to her core. However, beyond her professional and personal accomplishments she is most proud of her two adult sons and the lives they are embarking on and believes motherhood to be her greatest accomplishment.
Amanda Ries
Patient Care Coordinator and Social Media Specialist
Amanda is a South Orange County native and graduate of Cal State Fullerton. She has worked in education and enjoys working at events and weddings in her free time. She loves working with people and enjoys encouraging clients to achieve their goals. In her spare time, she likes spending time at the beach, drawing, crafting, and yoga. She also enjoys trying new restaurants, going to car shows, and volunteering at her church.
